Clark beamed and gave up one of the pies to his excited cousin. "You bet," he said warmly, "pumpkin in one hand and apple in the other. I didn't exactly tell Mom where I was going for dinner but she insisted on baking for my "friends" anyway. You know what she says. "No one's Thanksgiving is complete without pie."
