A "Time" to Be Thankful

Maybe it's been a few months, maybe it's been a few years. Maybe it's all just started, or maybe you've been gone a while, or maybe you've never even though of going away at all. Maybe the week was bad, or maybe the week was good. But all of that is to the side for this one day, or at least it's to the side enough to get you into the room for the day.
There's cooking to do, and more food to eat than any rowdy bunch of children could plow through in one night. It looks like someone got in the decorating mood, and someone else found music, and there's never been a lack of drinks to be found in a pinch around The Waverider. Those might even be poppers someone left on the table. And there might even be the threat of movies while you wait, or later on into the night.
Saddle up, Arrowverse. It's time for a Legends Thanksgiving.
[ This is your free for all space, Legends players. Whatever time frames you want, whatever events, whatever threads, whatever character interactions. Toss your self about. All characters from all times, all versions of all characters, play by however many people want to be here, and any sort of magic or chaos you'd like to drag in. Everything is welcome here. This is my favorite dysfunctional-functional family, and every single one of them is welcome. Anyone and everyone from the show, at any point, anywhere. Threads do not have to match or mingle. It's all whatever will make your heart the happiest on this day. Wave your hands and make it work. If you need/to throw yourself at some planning or want to request certain characters, or plot or whatnot, there's a plurk over here, as well.
Come one, come all, for a Legends Thanksgiving this fall. ]

"I mean, at least try to come up with a better argument for when Ray comes to drag you into whatever song and games nonsense I'm sure he'd been planning for days now." You can positively smell it on him. Sage and butter and sugar, and too much god damn sunshine for any one too tall man. "Maybe try out the whole fact it's not even near Thanksgiving in any of the last four places in time we stopped this week alone."

John does roll his eyes at this one. "Are we sure Ray Palmer isn't completely made of puppy dogs and rainbows," he asks, "there are real positivity golems. Pain in the ass but decent enough sorts." John likes Ray and he's enjoying watching Nora and Ray dance around each other more than one person should. But he isn't about to admit to any of it. "I'll play along but I'm not about to paste a smile on when I don't have one to paste."

It's kind of amazing that somehow she can actually manage to set down so close, and yet have placed herself so specifically that even though she's right where his feet were, their knees still don't actually touch. But that is very Sara for you, and very much the space she keeps around her at all times.
The bite goes down and she continues on, fork still tapping in the air.
"What actually requires a smile from you, that you'd actually get gussied up enough to play pretend for it?"

John thinks about what she's asking and if he was a lesser man he'd be honest. But he isn't and she isn't expecting it. So he leans up and takes a deep sip of his liquid dinner. "A good shag and maybe the end of the world," he jokes, "maybe a visit from St. Peter himself if he was in a mood for it." Another sip from his drink. "and for the record I do smile."

Looking for all the world like she was absolutely at good with the whole of it.
(Maybe not 'at peace,' maybe never at 'peace.' but definitely somewhere around pleased.)

He raises an eyebrow and smirks. "And you like it," he replies, "when I'm not being the one who tells you what you need to hear I'm the one who can lie and still be honest at the same bloody time." He leans back again. "You like how blunt I am."
